Terms of Service

Services Provided: Neat & Perfect Bartending Co. provides licensed bartenders, bar tools, a water dispenser, bar menu signage, and setup and cleanup of the bar area. Complimentary recyclable disposable cups, napkins, and biodegradable straws are included with our service. A portable bar is also available at no additional charge if needed.

Guest Count: Pricing is based on the total number of guests attending, including children and non-drinking guests. Please provide an accurate guest count so we can prepare the appropriate staffing, equipment, and supplies. Additional fees may apply if attendance exceeds the contracted guest count.

Alcohol Service: To keep your event safe and compliant with Washington State law, all alcohol must be served by our bartenders. Guests may not serve themselves, access alcohol from unattended bottles or coolers, or enter behind the bar. Bartenders may refuse service to anyone who is underage, visibly intoxicated, disruptive, or potentially unsafe. We are not responsible for alcohol consumed without our knowledge or provided to minors by other guests.

Client-Provided Beverages and Supplies: After your complimentary menu consultation, we will provide a customized shopping list based on your guest count and selected menu. Because consumption varies, Neat & Perfect Bartending Co. is not responsible for shortages or excess products. Unless otherwise arranged, all alcohol, mixers, ice, garnishes, and other requested items must be placed at or immediately next to the bar before setup begins. Any unopened alcohol remains the client’s property after the event.

Alcohol Pickup and Additional Purchases: Clients may place a prepaid online alcohol order for pickup by our team. A service fee equal to 15% of the alcohol order subtotal will apply. With the client’s prior approval, we may also purchase ice, juices, syrups, fruit, garnishes, and other bar supplies. Approved purchases and applicable fees will be added to the final invoice.

Venue and Bar Access: Venue, Permits, and Bar Access: The client is responsible for confirming that the venue permits bartending services and for obtaining any required permits. Most private events where alcohol is provided to guests require a Washington State banquet permit. Clients can review the requirements and apply for a permit here: https://lcb.wa.gov/licensing/banquet-permits.

If your venue requires documentation from us, such as a copy of our business license, certificate of insurance, or bartenders’ MAST permits, we are happy to provide it upon request.

The bar area must be accessible, covered, appropriately heated or cooled, and ready when our bartenders arrive. Additional fees may apply if supplies must be located or transported, the bar is moved after setup begins, or additional bar locations or transfers were not arranged in advance.

Payment Terms: A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the event date. The remaining balance and any approved purchases or additional services are due according to the payment schedule in the signed agreement. Late balances may be subject to fees, interest, and reasonable collection costs.

Gratuity: Clients may choose between two gratuity options:

  • A 25% hosted gratuity based on the service total, with no tip jar or Venmo QR code displayed for guests; or

  • A 5% hosted gratuity based on the service total, with a tip jar and Venmo QR code available for guests who would like to leave an additional tip.

Your preferred option will be confirmed during the menu consultation and included on your final invoice.

Cancellation Policy: If an event is canceled more than seven days before the scheduled date, the retainer will be forfeited, but no additional service balance will be due. Cancellations within seven days require payment of the remaining contract balance and reimbursement for any event-specific materials already purchased.

Water Access: The client and/or venue must ensure that guests have access to fresh drinking water throughout the event beyond any water provided at the bar.

Safety: We want every event to be enjoyable for our clients, guests, and staff. Bar service may be paused or ended without refund if unsafe conditions, liquor-law violations, threats, harassment, discrimination, physical altercations, or abusive behavior occur.

Property and Liability: The client assumes responsibility for client-owned alcohol, supplies, equipment, and other materials before and after service. The client is also responsible for damage to Neat & Perfect Bartending Co. equipment caused by the client or guests. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the applicable service.

This summary is provided for convenience. Complete event-specific terms and conditions will be included in the signed service agreement.
